Doctors and health experts recommend that you need to keep your vagina dry. However, there is a natural wetness in the vagina due to the fluid discharge. So, if you cite that your vagina feels too dry or there is lack of this lubricating fluid, it would be a good idea to consult your gynecologist. This holds only for pre menopausal women. Ladies who have already reached menopause will have a dry vagina which is normal.

2, Excessive Vaginal Discharge

Your vagina discharges a white fluid which is natural lubricant. But, this discharge is very little and does not wet your underpants. However, it is important to remember that the vagina goes into a self cleaning mode every month and this period is associated with heavy discharge. So wait for a few days before taking any decision. In case there is too much discharge for days on end, you might want to get some medical help.

3, Malodor

Can you sense a foul smell in your panties? Do you smell some malodor coming from your vagina when you go for a pee? There is no apparent odor that emanates from your vagina. So, if you find some malodor in and around your vagina, rush to your doctor as this calls for immediate attention.

4, Discharge Discoloration

The fluid that is discharged from your vagina has generally a white or cream color. On some days, it could also have a transparent, viscous consistency. Some women also have a brown colored discharge as they approach their menstrual cycle. All this is quite normal. But, if you see any change in the color of the discharge, this is not a good sign. If your vaginal discharge appears yellow or green in color, this is an indicator of vaginal infection which needs immediate medical intervention.
